Our commitment

Board service should be open to everyone, so the tools that support it should be usable by everyone. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and we treat accessibility problems as bugs.

What we build for

• Keyboard navigation and visible focus on interactive controls.
• Labeled form fields, buttons, and dialogs for screen reader users.
• Text and interface contrast checked against the AA thresholds.
• Dictation on text fields so information can be spoken instead of typed.
• Responsive layouts that work at 200 percent zoom and on small screens.
• Print friendly views so plans can be read on paper in a meeting.

Known limitations

Dictation depends on your browser's speech recognition and is not available in every browser. Some animated examples on the home page move on their own; they are decorative and every screen they show is reachable as a normal page. Exported files and documents that members upload are outside our control and may not be accessible.
